Biographie
Rising from the shadows of the Los Angeles, The Dark is the latest audio sensation to hit the underground club scene. In early 2011 The project known as "Brandon Ashley" took on a whole new direction and reappeared into the scene as The Dark. Singer Brandon Ashley along with fellow Italian Sonny Lanegan (bass guitar) and James Cross (drummer ) soon joined with guitarist Adam Vex and keyboardist Tom Napack to deliver a "wall of sound" to the audience.Deriving inspiration from his home town of Turin, Brandon brings forth a mysterious and dark air to his lyrics and a fashionable and artistic flair to the live show. The five piece band has electronic sensibility with the use of unconventional electronic processing and heavily distorted guitars with formate friendly songs that have true commercial value reminiscent of edgy electronic bands such as Nine Inch Nails and The Prodigy.
Managed by Jonny Coffin (owner of Coffin Case). The Dark has opened new marketing doors and has a roll out plan involving major music chains, TV networks, and a visual campaign in the works. "We are extremely lucky to be positioned in the industry to find new and creative ways to market the band directly to the end user " says Coffin.
Currently The Dark is in the studio recording their debut album which will feature a few notable special guest performances, to be reveiled in the near future.

Le groupe de 5 a une sensibilité éléctronique avec l'usage non conventionnel de la procédure électronique et des guitares lourdement saturées avec un format de chansons sympatique qui ont une vraie valeur commerciale qui rappelle les groupes électroniques nerveux comme Nine Inch Nails et The Prodigy
Managé par Jonny Coffin ( propriétaire du Coffin Case). The Dark a ouvert de nouvelles portes au marketing et a un plan en route incluant les chaînes musicales majeures, les réseaux télés, et une campagne visuelle en préparation. " Nous sommes extrèmement chanceux d'être positionés dans l'industrie pour trouver des façons nouvelles et créatives pour promouvoir directement le groupe jusqu'à l'usage final" dit Coffin.
Actuellement The Dark est en studio en train d'enregister leur premier album qui incluera quelques collaborations spéciales qui seront révelées dans une future proche
